Water pipes

ERTA-VS ERTA-VSH

The ERTA boiler has developed from a project which dates back to the 1950s, with the classic “D” shape. It has vertical water pipes, with natural circulation, pressurized, with combustion gas flow horizontal and parallel to the steam drums above. These generators can operate with any type of liquid or gaseous fuel. The combustion chamber and the external perimeter consist of radiation shields composed of welded tangential pipes in order to obtain a perfect pressurization seal of the flue gas circuit. The large size of the combustion chamber and the wide heat exchange surface make it possible to obtain reduced superficial thermal loads.
The convection tube bundle, according to the type of fuel used, can be equipped with special soot blowers to prevent ash build-up.
The combustion chamber and the convection system pipes are expanded to the steam drums. In the upper drum are mounted the conveying and separating baffles to maintain a stable level under the different load conditions.
The boiler can be equipped with an economizer that, by exploiting the sensible heat of the combustion gas in output from the main boiler’s body, heats the feed water increasing the boiler’s thermal efficiency over 95%.
It is possible to install a convection or radiation steam superheater to increase the steam temperature up to 510°C, with a pressure of 80 barg.
Construction procedures are checked by our quality control system.
The thermal characteristics of these generators guarantee, in addition to high performance, regular and long-term operation, with minimal maintenance costs even in case of heavy duty applications.
The ERTA series boilers are supplied complete with combustion plant and, on request, with a control, regulation and process parameters recording system, run by a PLC, interfaced with a Personal Computer.

Multitubular

MT-AC MT-AS MT-FD

The hot water, superheated water, thermal oil boilers series MT-AC, MT-AS, MT-FD have been designed for systems using liquid or gaseous fuels.
They are parallelepiped in shape with combustion chamber and external perimeter composed of welded tangential pipes; these solutions make it possible to obtain a perfect pressurization seal of the flue gas circuit.
The large size of the combustion chamber, completely shielded and with limited surfaces in refractory material, guarantees reduced superficial thermal loads and a low thermal inertia, in this way, in addition to improving the generator’s response to loads variations, it is prevented, even with unforeseen fluid circulation absence, pipes overheating due to refractory radiation.
The thermo-fluid dynamic characteristics of these generators have been designed to ensure maximum reliability and the highest performance under any load conditions. The boilers can be equipped with an air-heater o an economizer that, by exploiting the sensible heat of the combustion gas in output from the main boiler’s body, increase the boiler’s thermal efficiency over 95%.
The construction materials used are high-quality steels and the welding is done with manual technique by skilled personnel.
All construction stages are checked by our internal quality control system.
The MT-AC, MT-AS, MT-FD series boilers are supplied complete with combustion system for fuel oil and/or natural gas, PLC logic regulations, instrumentation, safety devices and fittings, in transportable package version.

Flue gas pipes

PBSS-AC PBSS-AS PBSS-VS PBSS-VSH

The main technical features of these generators are the result of long experience and continuous research to improve the product.
Their structure, with three smoke passes and wet bottom, guarantees a bigger thermal exchange with equal external dimensions and therefore the highest performance levels. The large-diameter flue made with expansion joints or of corrugated type and its downwards eccentric arrangement favour intense water circulation in the boiler preventing local overheating and improving the thermal exchange.
The gas retroversion chamber is completely wet with water; in this way the maintenance costs for refractory are eliminated.
The refractory materials in these boilers are in fact limited to the burner cone only.

The tube plates are flanged and undergo a stress relieving heat treatment; all pipes are expanded and welded to the tube plates. According to the type of fuel used, the boiler can be equipped with an economizer that by exploiting the sensible heat of the combustion gas can increase the boiler’s thermal efficiency over 95%. It is also possible to install a steam superheater. This equipment is of convection type in order to ensure maximum reliability even during cold commissioning and it can increase the steam temperature up to 350°C. Taken overall, all these solutions make it possible to have no ordinary or extraordinary maintenances costs ensuring maximum reliability and performance over time. The PBSS series boilers are supplied complete with combustion system for fuel oil and/or natural gas, PLC logic regulations, instrumentation, safety devices and fittings, in transportable package version.

Coaxial coils

FDV

The thermal oil boilers series FDV have been designed for systems using liquid or gaseous fuels.
They consist of a tubular structure with helical concentric multi-start coils made so as to allow a correct and adequate circulation of the oil. The welding of the pipes is performed by qualified personnel and undergo non-destructive testing.
The tube bundle which forms the heat exchange coil is housed inside a metal ferrule to obtain a perfect flue gas seal.
The heat generator is insulated with mineral wool and is externally covered with a sheet of corrugated galvanized steel or of stainless steel.
These generators are supplied complete with combustion system for fuel oil and/or natural gas and with all the necessary control, regulation and safety devices.
